In this blog post, I describe how I detected a potential Ellerman Bomb, and how I implemented an algorithm in #JSolEx to detect these: https://melix.github.io/blog/2025/05-19-jsolex-3-2-0.html

Nid de poule d'eau, autour de la mare de mon terrain.
Wondering how large is AR4079? On this image I have added the Earth as a comparison point. It's HUGE. The image was captured with my SHG under very bad seeing and turbulence, so I'm eager to see what I can get under better conditions!

The coma cluster (Abell 1656). There are more than a thousand galaxies visible in this image!

I have released JSol'Ex 3.1.0, with a long awaited (experimental) feature: jagged edges correction!

Cédric Champeau's blog: Jagged Edges Correction with JSol’Ex 3.1

Image in CaH captured at lunch break from my backyards, between clouds and trees. Stack of 10 images selected from a set of 20 (most of them had clouds). Stacked and processed with #JSolEx 3.0.2. The clear disk version is off-band by 1 Å.

A Calcium H image of the sun, shot with an SHG700, a 560mm refractor, stacked and processed using #JSolEx.

Shows one of the longest filaments I have ever seen!

Partial Solar Eclipse of March 29, 2025, from France.
Using a SHG700 and processed with my own software, JSol'Ex !

Sun, Helium D3, captured today with my SHG 700, stacked and processed using #JSolEx

5 days of animation of the sun. Captured with MLAstro SHG 700 and processed with JSol'Ex. Images were roughly taken 24 hours apart (+= 2 hours), depending on the weather conditions.
