She was against german reunification at the time and was deeply suspicious about Germany and their people and politicians.
Former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher bitterly opposed Germany's reunification. 'We beat the Germans twice, and now they're back,' she allegedly remarked after the fall of the Berlin Wall. But a new raft of documents reveals just how isolated in her opinion the Iron Lady really was.
I switched this weekend. I got new parts for a new build due to a leak in the radiator of my watercooling loop. Really everything except hard drives and the case was replaced.
Previously, me switching to Linux was planned before Windows 10 support would end. My old hardware didn’t support Windows 11 (6th Gen i7). And most, if not all things I heard were pretty negative, at least for non commercial users. Same goes for the experience with it on our work computers. So I decided to switch to Linux anyway.
And as it is required now when I write a comment: I’m using Arch btw. No problems so far.
All that is left than is to MAGA and consolidate Trumps power. Just look for reference into en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Night_of_the_Long_Knives to see what will happen in the not so distant future.
The rioters will be purged after the power grab. They absolutely stand alone after Trump drops them faster than he can say Covfefe. With the judicative and executive under his boot, there is nothing left inside the USA to fight against. So any guesses what the first target will be after the rioters and LGBTQ+?
Reminds me about this old article about complex software UI.
Alex is out of town today, so let's revisit a classic! FileMatrix is an example of the exact opposite of Apple's typical UI design. Whereas Apple will create a development environment that operates entirely from one blinky, rainbow-colored button on the screen (which you click one way to enter text, another way to compile, etc.), today's example is a piece of software that really empowers the user. The Matrix! No, not the the uburbulous deprodication errebelously conceived by "The Architect". I'm talking about the other matrix - The FileMatrix. Agent "G. Nickerson" was kind enough to send in a link to this UI where "simplicity" and "ease of use" seem to have gone the way of the telegraph. Take a gander for yourself:
This isn’t like talking to a human. It lacks depth, empathy, context, knowledge in all questions.
Just try to get more about a topic out of it, asking deeper questions. You will find that it begins writing something that might sound right or helpful but actually isn’t.
