I stayed up last night to watch a rocket launch from 50 miles away. It was truly one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. I don't remember the last time I was so awe-struck at something that's so quotidian now. Truly an amazing feat of human ingenuity.

Took a stab at making J. Kenji López-Alt’s garlicky noodles that were the NYT Cooking’s most popular recipe of the year — they were super tasty !

I followed the recipe as instructed (damn it’s a lot of garlic!!) and it was super good! I made some ground pork with basically the same ingredients in the pasta sauce (minus the garlic) and some chili flakes and a dash of sambal oelek to go along with it. Very tasty, and everything came together super quickly !! #nytcooking #noodles #garlic #porknoodles #dinner #tasty"
