a "successor" to the Truthear Hexa has been released, the Truthear Pure, but it doesn't seem like an obvious improvement… I'm skeptical about the upper midrange.

Truthear will probably discontinue the Hexa soon, like how the Hola was discontinued when the Gate was released…

I am always very very skeptical when I see something like this - quite often, someone is misinterpreting or misrepresenting something.
