Growing up, I was a fan of early spaceflight. The original 7 & new 9 were heroes, but to me one stood above the rest. #JimLovell. Gemini 7, Gemini 12, Apollo 8, and Apollo 13. He quickly became the farthest travelled man in history.
To be one of the first to travel to the Moon on Apollo 8, to the ill-fated mission of Apollo 13 - he visited twice but never set foot on the surface.
