thinking about how i use fedi and somehow i'm not that happy with it?
i set up this account for talking to friends and sceners, but find myself preferring dms and group chats for that when available, especially when it's more personal stuff that i'd rather not share on a public-facing account.
and since fedi feels more like talking to people and less parasocially microblog-ish than say, twitter, using it for externalizing every shitposty thought also feels a bit wrong.
tbh i kinda miss what it was like a couple years back when i had an account on a now-dead instance, just following cool internet strangers and posting @ each other?
so now i'm just wondering if i should just do that again but with this account or set up an alt (which might then be private bc it shouldn't just become main v2)

also if anyone relates please share your wisdom
