Check out seequa.org for my research on the Seequa Computer Corporation!

I had some help this weekend from Forgotten Machines getting my damaged Zorba disks imaged (turns out, DS/QD may be intentionally misaligned in the Zorba), and one of my disks I was oh so worried about getting archived had nothing on it except the following text in a TurboPascal file:

“Genesis: in the beginning, God created Adam. Or was it Coleco?”

Can’t make it up lol

I finally was able to get a high quality scan of the Chameleon Plus advertisement I have! You could get double the memory and double the disk space a $1995 Chameleon could get you for less than double the price!

You can see the rest of my scans and photos regarding Seequa computers at https://seequa.org/gallery !

So here’s a fun one: from Seequa’s Odenton plant opening, they were running some sort of demo on the Chameleon being showcased. I’m trying to figure out 1. What it says and 2. How to recreate it. It looks like to me it says “EXPANSION”, but I’m perplexed how they got the font to be that big and more importantly why’d they need the left hand side text?

@Binder @amoroso immediately thought of the Nintendo Power mascot and his awful Virtual Boy game lol. I will add it to my list of contenders, thank you!!
@amoroso I will add that to my running! Thank you for the recommendation!
@bytex64 my old logo mascot was named Chip!
@amoroso typing too fast for my own good, haha! Fixed, thank you!!

After two years of being very “meh” about the McJonesTech branding, I’ve finally gotten a new logo mascot that isn’t just whatever boilerplate design the Fiverr artist made!

My only problem is, I can’t think of a good name for the lil guy. Any ideas?

Going through the magazine for screenshots to include on the Internet Archive is hilarious because its super normal stuff and then the Buffalo Bills lol

In a break from everything else I’ve been putting off, I got a BS-X Memory Pak in the mail today! Turns out, the saved broadcast on it is an undumped magazine broadcast, called 3 Ji no WIDE Shou from November of 1998!
