This ad for monday.com on a Melbourne train didn’t sit well with me when I saw it. It says:

“Better workflows can save your company plenty of time. But maybe not enough to find a decent latte... in Sydney.”

We know that Sydney feels the need to compete with Melbourne. And that our coffee is generally better than Sydney’s. But Melbournites aren’t much into the rivalry thing that this ad suggests. We’re not insecure about it. And we always have time to find a decent latte (even in Sydney, or California). Seems this ad is more like something done by a nervous Sydneysider trying to pander to what they think we’re like.

And behold, it turns out that
monday.com’s Australian HQ is in Sydney

Anyway, Sydney and monday.com, don’t fret. We are okay with Sydney’s existence. They do well enough in most things, and better in some. No need to create rivalry to feel better about yourself.

Is it just me or is it really hard to figure out how to follow someone on #calckey via the mobile interface? Have included a screen shot of @kainoa’s profile for reference. Maybe it’s so obvious that I’m missing it.
#Calckey is pretty nice. And if you’re on iOS, the web interface works really well as a standalone web app when added to your Home Screen, removing the extra browser chrome.
