I'm not a Calvinist by any means, but I do think that people have a specific nature that sets them down a particular path.

It's why I didn't know the meanings of my tattoos until after I got them. The symbolism was always a part of me even when I had no conscious recognition of it.

It's why, even though I believe in the God of Israel, I also don't place Him above The Sun or The Moon or believe that His creation myth is more true than Tiamat's.

I have a special place in my heart for Jesus because His beliefs align with my own. But also, if there's a jealous God who wants me all to Himself, it is against my nature to be fully devoted. That is who I am, have been, and will be.

I've been mostly quiet about this but, despite saying I wasn't going to do game jams this year, I am indeed doing a game jam, The DiscMaster Jam, and I have something to share. All these assets came from DiscMaster, mostly from the game Frozen Fruit Frenzy
They can make the law say I'm legally a man, but they will never break my Faggot Spirit. As long as I can speak, as long as I can gesture, as long as I live, I will be proudly what they hate
One effect of making working on this project is I came up with what I want on my tombstone

So, I haven't talked about it on here, but I'm making a magic thing. A lot is planned out, there's some art, notes, and conversations with loved ones.

Idk how to talk about it in a post really. It's very big and complicated but also very small. It's a daily activity intended to be used with real magic intent, but it's also RPG mechanics.

Obviously, playtesting @Sophie 's game Dice the Demiurge influenced it, at least the mindset of a daily game with a connection to the real world.

I decided to get a high score in all nine categories of falling. Surprisingly, I didn't burn myself out on playing it while working on it (on the contrary, I've grown to appreciate it more the better I understand it).
Me, furiously rewriting code: Look, it's got a tate mode. It's a shmup I swear.
Damn, wish I read this before I named my game
