maxhaesslein.deOver the last few days, I finally removed the last third-party embed from my website: Vimeo embeds. I now host all videos locally on my own server, in 3 different resolutions (480p, 720p and 1080p) with the AV1 codec (and a h.264 fallback for older devices). This adds 12 GB to my website folder, but luckily I can just add more webspace to my Uberspace account.

FlickrToday, I repaired an old Agfa Optima 200 Sensor camera from 1968, thanks to a random user on Flickr who documented the whole disassembly process, so I could find out what was wrong. The best part about this camera: the exposure meter is a Selenium cell sensor, so no battery is needed. Let's see if the exposure is still in the right ballpark.
