@willofgregor (second language learner, so take with a grain of salt): Japanese users tend to avoid third party pronouns when referring to known people, preferring to use name- or title-san, or some variation of あの人 (that person) if they don’t know the name. That being said there are dedicated but infrequent pronouns for he and she 彼/彼女. I do not know if there’s a neopronoun for NB.
