@rustaceans I don’t think Emacs’ hurdle is modal editing, unless doom-/space-emacs do modal by default but then it’s less an Emacs hurdle and more of a hurdle with those configurations
FDA refuses to review Moderna's mRNA flu vaccine
The move comes amid RFK Jr.'s relentless efforts to enact his anti-vaccine agenda.

@klymilark "a bit weird" is the most charitable way you could have described it haha.

Glad it worked though!

@klymilark you’ll need to install a package (page-line-breaks I think) and run the code in the SO post in the M-: evaluate in the mini buffer; not very intuitive tbh
@klymilark This seems promising, though it was quite buggy when I tried it so might need some additional tweaking: https://emacs.stackexchange.com/questions/59482/display-a-horizontal-underline-on-every-line
Everyday you learn something new, today I learned that there are pipes in Emacs Lisp. `->`. This is my favourite feature in R and seeing it here makes me unreasonably happy.
@tdmatern @gamingonlinux apparently they're not outright removing Linux / Steam Deck support though. So at least it's not all bad news.

Very happy to share a new #emacs package I have been working on for my #hexcrawling #sandbox #ttrpgs.

I know there are some excellent hexmap-drawing tools out there but none matched my needs, or did too many things, so I made my own: https://github.com/Matt-Int/hexmap.el

Best thing about it in my opinon? No more worrying about corners on a page or getting to the edge!

How has it taken me years to find this #magit setting? `magit-diff-refine-hunk` setting this to `t` or `'all` makes reading diffs in magit so much better. #emacs

@pjol I doubt this is a new problem, IRC has existed for way longer and has been used for support too and has even more issues with searchability.

But I completely agree that git issues and forums are definitely better ways of managing support requests over discord and matrix. I just don’t see the incentive/value prop for these.
