I love Laura Marling so much, every record is special. Uncharacteristically, she wrote/played a lot of this record on an electric guitar. It suits her.

Election night 2020, Jason Isbell made a rash promise that if Georgia went blue he’d record an album of songs from the State. Georgia did go blue and Isbell, with the 400 Unit and host of friends, came good with this stellar collection.

Tonight it is reminding me that things can get better.

Take two genius songwriters/absolute weirdos with insanely high standards and a bunch of the best session musos in the world and you get this absolute masterpiece. My favourite Dan album, one of my all time favourite albums.

My first King Gizz vinyl. Hard to pick a favourite from these guys (the choice is frankly overwhelming!) but I think this is it for me. Just so much fun. Love the Toxic Landfill vinyl!

When I was a kid, I found a box of my Mum’s cassette tapes and this album was in it. It blew my twelve year old mind. It still rules so much. That sharp 1 and 3 beat on the title track!
