tried a new activity in datavis class today, doing visualisation of feedback text from the assignment.

not a complete waste of a session, but not as good as it should have been. back to the drawing board with that one

this colour palette generator is fascinating - but I think the thing I love the most is that the favicon updates as the generated palette changes

poline is lightweight, dependency free and fast JavaScript function written in TypeScript. It draws lines between anchors over polar coordinates to generate pleasing color palettes.

We'd bought coffee! And tea! And biscuits! And soft drinks! And the prices are eye-watering because <redacted for career safety>!

And then I stole all the soft drinks and biscuits to use at a future event! And dropped them all on my way back to the office! (They're okay!)

Ended up speaking to a grand total of three (3) students, all of them online. Great chat and insights, and it was all useful, but man this lack of engagement can get you down.

Students: "hey, our feedback could be better"

Us: "great, come and talk to us about it"

Result:
