The bird site is absolutely fucked at the moment. If this was deliberate policy, then it’s absolutely insane - it’s rendered the site unusable.
Even if you’re logged in, you can’t read tweet threads. I’m not a heavy user, but I found my ability to read threads restricted very quickly today. Elmo has just effectively shut down Twitter and told his users that unless you pay, you can fuck off. Bonkers.
