@iamrobin What about having a "long press" interaction for touch devices? During press the animation runs, a loading bar loads up and at the end the link is opened? See attached sketch.

@iamrobin

‪Would love to see the animations on mobile. Maybe an animation on focus (double tap to open the link?), short delay before the link opens or ‬something with IntersectionObserver?

Am I right that you're using Keystone locally more or less as a nicer interface to create content? Do you run everything in one repo (Astro, Keystone), including database as e.g. SQLite?
Interesting approach, definitely. Not usable for client work (as we would need to deploy Keystone there :)), but besides that: Cool!

Watching my timeline, I believe there is still some demand for high quality mobile apps.

@unsafe @elk @TauriApps Hey, iOS app when? 😋
@marcel So nice to see you growing as a developer and feeling the joy you have! :)
@simonswiss I think there's a lot in it. The trend of Headless CMS and Microservices might be an outcome of the idea of "seperating and decoupling everything".
Personally, I just love the seamless development experience of modern monoliths like Vue-Inertia-Laravel or monorepos with pnpm/NX.
Don't get me wrong, there are definitely valid reasons to separate and decouple, but sometimes the best solution is to bring it all together. 🤗

I feel you. Twitter was and still is my main source for web related news... still struggling to do the 100% switch (and congrats that you did it!)
I used https://www.movetodon.org to find some of my follows.
Let's hope, that more will follow. :)

If it's just about drawing a single concept fast, I often use https://tldraw.com by @steveruizok – I especially enjoy the VSCode version.
Still, for rapid prototyping I'm always coming back to Balsamiq... 🙃
What do you miss there?
