I’m not particularly convinced anyone on the Nest team has experienced a smoke alarm before. The user experience drives me insane.
I saw this on Instagram recently and it resonated so much I now read it every morning wit my coffee: "I feel like I'm constantly worrying about the next part of my life without realizing that I'm right in the middle of what I used to look forward to."
A productivity hack that never fails for me is that if I'm overdue on one task that I really don't want to do, I will happily tackle any number of tasks with impending due dates (tomorrow or within the next week). This is why I surface all these impending-due-dates in the same place as overdue ones.
What's the strategy behind hiring people who cannot sing in commercials? I already don't want to hear a song about Cologuard and I especially don't want to hear an off-key song about Cologuard.
