The specific rumors last fall were about Tim saying he is tired and wants to retire. THAT’S what Tim denied and “squashed”. The title of the article was “Tim squashes Retirement RUMORS”, a completely fair assessment, not that he squashed the very possibility of him ever retiring. That of course would be ridiculous and one could rephrase the title to be more correct but calling it “journalistic malpractice” borders on you engaging in it yourself.

I actually appreciate you offering your own narratives on leaks and rumors like Gurman’s reporting on the potential departure of Srouji but you are undermining this work by bundling it with a hyper dramatic writing style and the aforementioned attacks against Alan Dye, going so far as to call him a “fraud of a designer”. I agree that him leaving for Meta tarnishes his reputation and you are free to believe that he “vandalized” macOS but imo this kind of writing is really counter productive and…

I am sorry but it seems that you are getting irrationally angry at a lot of Apple related stuff these days. I will try to ignore the blatantly personal attacks on Alan Dye and just focus on the very nature of your writing.
Counter to what you are saying policies can of course be looked at separately from an overall political ideology. Especially if it’s very arbitrary business regulations like the tariffs that Apple was/ is facing. I don’t understand your need for being this nit-picky here. You could have Bernie doing similar tariffs but none of the ICE stuff for example. One shared populist policy wouldn’t make him the same as Trump on the political ideological spectrum. But it would mean the same kind of stress for Apple.
