@aral there's a bizarre imperialism to it. I think they see the world outside of the US and Russia/China as merely squares on a chess board between the major players. The sovereignty of the people in those squares is never considered their own but the property of major powers.
I love the weird things the internet makes happen.
Like a guy that makes videos of himself playing videogames coming up with a whole new sound economic theorem.
Worthy of a doctorate in the right environment, but instead it's done in the context of calling lazy twitch streamers dicks.
