Even in winter, a heat pump operating at 300%efficiency is going to be cheaper to run than an electric boiler in the 90%efficiency range

Attached: 1 image @[email protected] lots of inaccurate statements in this article. Itβs misinformation. E.g. 1. microbore pipework - not ideal, but running 2nd pump for the microbore circuit will work, albeit lowering the efficiency of the #HeatPump (higher flow temp needed) 2. Hydrogen wonβt be used as not economically feasible (needs ~5-6 x renewable electricity generation to generate green hydrogen), extremely hard to transport (leaks due to small size), and requires ventilation in each room!
