Yeah, I've been living it for 25 years....
The whole environment for EVs right now is super hostile. People are getting squeezed everywhere economically. The current Admin isn't really helping. The lack of infrastructure to support mass adoption. About the only thing I can imagine that happened recently in favor of EVs is the price of oil shooting up.
I've felt this way for a while. According to that definition, a Wal-Mart worker coding apps for their SW side hustle isn't in tech either.
