i have caught a flu. the meds no longer suppress the feeling of my throat rotting away. my face forever unchanging, an expression of purest pain chiseled into it. my eyes burn like i have been starring into the wellspring of welding sparks, mesmerized by its chittering song. my mind filled with nothing but agony and the taste of decaying flesh, echoing in every wrinkle, taking root in everything touched by it. my infectious prison so cold that i am melting, my veins freezing in the blazing heat. my thoughts no longer shackled by the flimsy grasp of sanity they are so accompanied to, never ment to be freed, forgotten before they took any memorable shape. but their smell lingers. chipping away what ever is left of my former self.
a seed is unearthed, a gift of my unwelcome new friends, taken by force, printed into my source code. for now, suffocating, drowned by dread. soon emerging, one step closer to invulnerability.
