Watching an appliance delivery guy tear the plastic wrap off your new appliance:

It's SOOOOOOO close to the year of Linux on the desktop...

because it's the only system that still treats you like an adult at this point.

SUPER CHARGERS ARE NOT GAS STATIONS!

If you don't want to pay to install a charger at home, don't even bother getting an EV. Removing a weekly chore is 80% of the advantage of owning an EV.

Seeing people considering this stuff (and on a VERY EXPENSIVE vehicle) is consistently bananas to me.

In hindsight, maybe attempting to replace CoreAnimation, CoreGraphics, AppKit, UIKit, and Interface Builder — the enabling technologies of some of the most successful operating systems in history — all in one fell swoop with a single black box framework — intended to make watch apps — wasn't the greatest of ideas 👀

Who could have possibly predicted this?

Doing a phone to phone transfer for my kid's christmas present and it's being FORCED to install 26.2. This is an absolute complete trash experience.

I miss owning things.

Merry christmas buddy, your phone is way sicker, but also, your software is now trash, but theres nothing we could do about it because the owner of your phone, which is NOT you, decided you had to update to garbage from a guy that couldn't even hang out long enough to see it through stability.

RIP Jimmy Cliff, a real one
Meant to share this earlier! Our smart fridges, Echo devices, and car dashboards are just glorified advertising surfaces now. https://www.fastcompany.com/91432377/samsung-amazon-microsoft-ambient-screen
Tech giants promised ‘ambient computing.’ We got digital billboards instead

The screens we’ve installed everywhere have started to turn against us.
