And all that is now | And all that is gone | And all that's to come | And everything under the sun is in tune | But the sun is eclipsed by the moon

Pro recommended by Thumbtack shows up at my house, gives an estimate 3.5x what another pro gave, then shakes me down for fucking gas money

I blocked the pro on Thumbtack and reported exactly what happened to them. Just got a response from Thumbtack saying there will be no repercussions whatsoever for the pro followed by a fucking long ass list of shit *I* am supposed to do to deal with people like this feces of a human

Fuck Thumbtack for real go to hell and clean up your fucking shit hellhole

It's interesting, every time I go to Taco Bueno they ask me if I want to round up to the next dollar but never say why. Am I supposed to support a charity of some kind or am I just giving Bueno more money?

Why has gas gone up $0.75 cents/gallon in the past few days?

Doesn't everyone know the US gets zero oil from Iran because we already have sanctions against them?

Costco has deceptive trade practices when it comes to online orders

I placed an order on my wife's iPhone for Same Day delivery. Great.

I kept looking for a delivery fee or tip for the driver during checkout and Costco didn't say shit about either one. Odd but ok

After we get our order Costco sends a text to my wife's phone saying review order, tip driver, etc. Great we tip after delivery so we tip

Then we checked the receipt and they already charged us $4.92 for the tip. Fucking bullshit

So I have had problems with dandruff for a while now and dandruff shampoo really doesn't help that much

So my wife sends me a Facebook post or something that says all you have to do to combat dandruff is blow dry your hair after taking a shower

Been doing that for a while now and I can say it definitely works, my dandruff is gone now I can't believe it

Just to follow up on Cava not giving me good value for what I am paying for

That post I made was almost a month ago and I haven't been back to Cava since

And the funny thing is I was so impressed by their $12.60 bowl that I was considering going to Cava twice a week because I felt I would be getting good value for my money

Now that that bowl is 20% more expensive, and the other bowl has no meat in it, there's literally no reason for me to go to Cava anymore

It's just a waste of money

Apparently the Washington Post licenses their stories out to other newspapers to publish

Like the Fort Worth Star-Telegram publishes national and international news that comes from the Washington Post

So if your newspaper is in a position like that, where not only do you rely on traditional subscribers for revenue but also other papers paying you to write articles for them as well, then how the fuck can you sustain that business by cutting over 1/3rd of your reporters?

It makes no sense

https://www.spokesman.com/stories/2026/feb/04/washington-post-begins-laying-off-more-than-300-jo/

The Washington Post is laying off 300 journalists today. Which is crazy since Jeff Bezos owns the Post and has more money than God

What does Bezos plan on doing, use AI to generate the news? Have AI write the articles? Will AI do all that investigative journalism on its own? How about fact checking sources? Can AI do that?

It's funny, laying off a third of your staff means you have 1/3rd less content in your paper. At this point just shut the whole thing down jfc

Washington Post begins laying off more than 300 journalists

The Washington Post told employees Wednesday that it was beginning a widespread round of layoffs that are expected to decimate the organization's sports, local news and international coverage.

I just had the dumbest call ever

I use a continuous glucose monitor and need to order sensors from time to time. My supplier needs my permission to send me more sensors

I just got a call from my supplier. It was an automated message telling me to call them back to confirm my order. That's right, they called me just to tell me to call them back. Even though they had me on the phone and could have me confirm my order in ten seconds

Dumbest thing of all time

Alex Pretti is executed on Saturday, stocks up quite a bit Monday

Guess ICE executing innocent citizens in the streets with no consequences whatsoever is bullish for the economy

Or the people with all the money like that the poor are being coerced through public executions into accepting an authoritarian regime which also must be bullish for stocks
