@siracusa I just listened to the last two episodes of ATP and I might have a fix for your iMessage group thing. I have experienced this many time and the only thing that has consistently worked for me is to remove all customizations to the groups, name, profile photo, background, everything. Bring both groups down to standard groups with no customization force quit iMessage and give it a few minutes. When you go back into iMessage, the groups should be merged.

@caseyliss i’m listening to episode 658 of ATP and maybe it was addressed in the next episode, but you can turn on advanced data protection to do and to end encrypted iCloud backups

Just had to file some #AppleFeedback about an #imessage #bug in #ios26

Friend of mine installed 26, set a background then switched to android. Now I have an iMessage chat with a background and I can’t change or remove it.

@gruber Just read your article about Swift Assist.

I’m an iOS dev for about 12 years now I was very excited about it and watched the WWDC video that demoed it.

I can’t seem to find that video but I distinctly remember the demo. Apples own announcement page shows a screenshot of it and a demo as well. I wonder if they’ll take it down soon.
