@tscriado Yes migrations are a PITA, but also an opportunity to maybe re-think workflows, habits etc. Although syncing is clunky (but works, I'm using FolderSync) and mobile app is slow to start, Obsidian is working great for me now. Most important plugin and the single key 🗝️ to Evernote exit success is Dataview for writing todo lists based on YAML fields. I have > 20 others but Dataview is the one which holds this together. My use-style is relatively simple, happy to show over zoom etc

@tscriado My sync solution between desktop and mobile is suboptimal, but works well enough..., but will need to wean off to something smoother. My vault won't fit in Obsidian Sync. Evernote mobile app was smoother than what I have now (before their design change in... was it 2021 or 2020 already?)

@tscriado Migrated 20k notes and 13GB stuff from Evernote to Obsidian in beginning of 2022 after the former broke my to-do based "every task is a note" workflow on the mobile, pushing for their own tasks which won't work for me. Had Evernote for a decade. Migration involved writing some code to bring over my workflow, and running in parallel for two months or so before cutting off Evernote.
