I'm not sure I need to, but regardless I'll highlight how much of a legend @OndrejMirtes is:

Last month I saw his talk at #phpuk26 on custom phpstan rules...

Yesterday at #dpc26 I'm in a talk by Paul Conroy who mentions named arguments in PHP, so I message Ondrej to ask if it's possible for @phpstan to detect places people should have used a named argument. 4 hours later we're in the bar hacking the new rule together on my laptop; 30 minutes, 2 beers, new rule, fully tested!

@ramsey you made it to #dpc26 after all!

To finish up the day today we have @derickr on how we should own our content and use the fediverse - feels good to be posting that on here, as without the #phpc I wouldn't even know about the fediverse let alone be using it!

#dpc26

We're learning about collective decision-making and how to help people be happy with the result of those decisions - @Skoop leading us in the after lunch session at #dpc26

"you learn faster and with more opportunities when working in community compared to working in your team" @mseckington talks to us about how helping to build community develops skills that are valuable for your work too. I definitely recognise this - the opportunities afforded to me by conferences (and the many hours of time on talk prep!) have really helped how I communicate to my company

#dpc26

"I'm not saying to do it, but you could do it. Don't quote me on that" - Serges Goma

#dpc26

The very honest @Skoop is admitting to one of Serges' git crimes in this photo to start her talk about "how to git away with murder" at #dpc26 (and yes, me too)
The conference slide deck version of r/angryupvote for Paul's slide title here. Good show sir #dpc26
It's Paul Conroy (don't think he's on mastodon?) accidentally resurrecting the British Empire by altering Dublin's country to UK whilst demonstrating how properties can be read only #dpc26
If anyone knows the speaker's handle may you tag him?
