Bereket Writers Winter 2023 Showcase

Bereket writers Melissa Llanes Brownlee, Sofía Aguilar and Nathan Xie will be reading excerpts from their published work and answering questions at this virtual reading + Q&A event. Bereket Writing Community is an intentional, equity-focused organization that brings together creative writers from traditionally marginalized backgrounds and matches them into long-term writer's workshop groups. Through biweekly and monthly groups that meet on a regular schedule, writers form long-term companionship with one another to support each other’s writing journeys. Centered around values of diversity, collaboration, gratitude and social justice, Bereket also organizes virtual writing events and programs to support the needs of the writers in the community and beyond.
