I’m honored to serve as Head Man Dancer at the 2025 Arikara Celebration in White Shield, ND. It’s happening the second weekend of July, and everyone is invited to come celebrate with the Sahnish people.

On Saturday night, I’ll host a Men’s Southern Straight Special (poster with details coming soon). That same day, my grandfather Orville “Buddy” Painte’s flag will be flown in his honor.

Tonight, I leveled up as a dad—I read Quinn the original Star Wars trilogy… in Little Golden Book form. Some dads read Goodnight Moon, but in this house, we say Goodnight Alderaan.

She can’t talk yet, but if she could, I’m pretty sure she’d say, “This is the way.”
