@chris I signed up! Not sure what is the best practice for migrating from a different instance. I haven't posted much so maybe it doesn't matter if I just abandon my previous account on indieweb.social.
@sharewarewolf No worries. Thanks for spreading vintage cheer. 🎅🏻
@sharewarewolf I’m tempted to put this in my B&W G3, but I couldn’t find anything online about this being compatible with Macintoshes. Any idea?
@chris @woozle @OctaviaConAmore Block heaters usually draw less than 6A @ 120V so if a whole row of cars tried to charge at 12A from this infrastructure in a saskatoon parking lot we’d start popping breakers for sure. But for now it’s a sweet little hack. 🙂

Don’t throw away your stuff when it breaks. Look to see if you can #fix it instead.

Thanks to under $20 of shipped parts, I replaced the broken LED on this LG TV with about a half day of work.

And an @iFixit guide.

If you’re strolling the east side of Woodland Drive on the north side of Venables Street, you can’t miss it.

The windows to the old warehouse have been boarded up, but right in the middle of that fourth one is an eye-catching curiosity. 🎞🤏

@kalleboo That looks perfect - thank you!
@billgoats well that makes me feel better because my current status is baffled. But also determined!
