Yep, it's real, A fully functioning piccolo trombone, can hit all 5 positions of a real one, uses any standard trumpet mouthpiece.While you can 3d print the mouthpiece, it sounds much clearer with a metal one as the printed version is quite buzzy. Note as of 12/8/25For anyone waiting for version 2.0 to be released before Christmas, unfortunately I do not expect it to be ready until then because of school (at earliest 1-2 days beforehand). Should be ready fairly soon after though. I am going to attempt to make the new part(s) compatible with the old so when it does release it should be a fairly quick print to swap them out. Version 1.1 (Current Version)No longer requires the CPVC pipe, now includes a printable versionLeadpipe is still fairly fragilePrintable outer slide makes movement very loud without quite a bit of sanding1 or both of those will be fixed in version 1.2 (2.0 if both) Version 1.0 Uses CPVC as the outer slide, PVC will not work as it is a different size.Leadpipe is currently very fragile so try to be careful!
