Science teacher, I like SciFi as much as actual science, skiing is fun. Oh and my BSc was in Cell/Molecular Biology, but that was a long time ago. Also am dyslexic, sorry if there are typos. New here.

Bacterial infections in immunocompromised people often won’t clear without antibiotics,… sometimes more than one course with different types.

When people acquire an immune deficiency (like the one caused by C-infections) they are more likely to both catch and get sicker from viruses, pathogenic bacteria and parasites. A family member has always had an immune deficiency, and when we have both caught something they need more medications and are more likely to get secondary infections (bacteria that take advantage of the fallout from fighting viral infections).
