My brother found me a really awesome gift. :D I've never had one of these before, and it seems to all be here, just a little rough on the cardboard side. And yes, it works just fine after some contact cleaning. Honestly, I'd had no idea that it was a live-tracking device.

The binocular "scope" attachment is the dumbest thing ever though and I love how absolutely ridiculous it is. #sega #lightgun #videogames

This weekend we're holding a Halloween party for friends and family at my house. I decided to pull the monster out for the event! It doesn't get out nearly enough. Forgive the messy entertainment center. 😅 #xbox #videogames
There are a lot of similar photos, but this is mine. Seeing a totality in person is... special. Sadly it'll be over twenty years before the next one is anywhere close to me... #eclipse
My home arcade grows (from only two A1Up minicabs and a Neo Geo MVS Gold) and I'm happy. This Area 51 was originally a TMNT cabinet that was at some time converted into a Mortal Kombat cabinet before it became Area 51. Has a W-G K7000A monitor installed. I'd love to know the full history of the thing, but there's no way that'll happen. I've got an A51/MaxForce Duo upgrade kit on order, and I need to do a bit of rewiring, but it works great! #arcade #area51 #lightgun
I was reminded of this gem in my collection when talking to a friend today. Still the best, most unusual gift I've ever gotten - a Soviet-era Electronika BK0010-01.
I need to pick up a step-up adapter to be able to run it... (I'm in the USA) Some point I'll quit being lazy and do it. Oddly enough, it's a 16-bit machine that's PDP-11 compatible.

I was reminded of this game today. This is the copy I've had since I was a kid. Loved this thing, and yeah, all the feelies are still intact. (Don't quite know how I didn't end up carrying around the card and losing it, though)
I'm also not sure I can count how many times I starved to death before figuring out the kitchen, hah. #infocom #interactivefiction #games
Hmm. Recently ran into a Game Boy prototype cartridge I was given a few years back.. decided to drop the EPROM into a chip reader and see what I got, if anything. Turned out to be a copy of the game Palamedes which boots and seems to run fine... (after a LOT of cleaning corrosion off; it wouldn't boot in its cartridge) but the dump I got doesn't actually match either version (EU, JP) of the ROM I picked up from the 'net to compare. #gameboy #prototype #videogame
Still amuses the hell out of me that the best entry in the normally first-party Nintendo series F-Zero was... made by Sega?
And it scales up /so/ well in Dolphin with no other enhancements, too. Honestly that generation tends to - textures were often quite good, but output resolution was limited. #gamecube
