You know what? This is very true. In fact, the entire movie-going experience was horrible before the pandemic - dirty floors and seats and sloppy screens, including a local one with a permanent splotch from a thrown soda.

I love going to the movies. When the audience is truly captured by a film, there's nothing like that shared experience. But I haven't been back to the movies since the pandemic started, and ill-kept theaters are a huge part of my absence.

I'm confused. My email is full of "Something BIG is coming Friday". Why wait to tell us? I'm busy. I'm cleaning, cooking, and will have people to entertain through the long weekend.

If you want me to look at your sale on Friday, tell me what it is, and if I want it, I'll make specific time to look at your sale. Otherwise, I probably won't look at my email until Sunday when it will be too late.

And when that happens, I just don't buy anything because I know I missed the best prices.

I thought I would be able to weather through on Twitter until saner heads took over, but...wow. Just wow.
