Anybody in the U.S. who says "it can't happen here" is absolutely full of shit.
It's rather terrifying, honestly. For one thing, because unlike what we've seen happening in countries like France and Georgia, we know for a fact that if Trump does it in the U.S. the vast majority of people will just keep shuffling along when what they should be doing is swarming into the streets.
