composed some music last night instead of sleeping. last time I had a creative spark must have been...7-8 years ago, before the music course I took burned me out on it.
is this a sign of progress? I don't know, maybe.
a call for "simpler" software is often also a call for less accessible software.
what is "bloat" to you might not be bloat to others. as a Brit I don't "need" software to display in anything other than English, but such a requirement makes that software inaccessible to non-English speakers. I don't need things like text-to-speech or high-contrast themes, but I know people who do, and it would be all too easy to decry these features as "bloat", when people depend on them.
I think this one random pub is the first meal I've come across that offers multiple sets of knives and forks.
good thing I remembered that cutlery is meant to be used inside to outside.
