If I'm reading an article and I'm going holy shit, this is so impossibly smart, my brain is melting, 100% of the times the article is written by @anatudor 🤯

Just reminded myself of https://randoma11y.com

Now you're reminded of / introduced to it too!

I'm finding myself increasingly uncomfortable with the exploitive nature of charging lots of $$$ for courses when so much of how I learned to do this work was free.

I've decided to refocus on making free resources.

You can (100% optionally) support that work here: https://members.gomakethings.com

Support my free web developer resources. You'll also get some awesome perks, including access to my private Discord community and my personal collection of courses, guides, and code snippets.

So in the State of JS survey when I answered that I was a woman, I was asked to share this link to invite more women, in the hope of a snowball effect:

It's a good point. I nearly didn't participate as the JS ecosystem drives me kind of nuts right now, but if I don't contribute to the data, it will continue to drive me nuts and I'll also remain unrepresented...

@dbushell it's what the devs who'll be using the code are used to. It'll be interesting!
@dbushell that's my instinct, but there's a request to use Tailwind. I might for some really custom components, because that's where the control really is.

Starting an adventure into learning React for a project. As a Svelte / VanillaJS dev usually, it's going to really interesting to see what that world is like.

@artcollisions hahhaa, right? It's crazy!

Google injecting links to Google products, on your website: https://9to5google.com/2024/11/25/google-ios-app-link-annotations-search/

And it's opt-out. Shocking.

Google’s iOS app now injects links on third-party websites that go back to Search

A new feature of the Google app on iOS injects links that go back to Google Search on third-party websites unless publishers opt out.
