In the current era of LLMs and AI slop all over the place, typewriters are more appealing to me than ever. I've had a typewriter for many years from the WWII era but have not had an electric one in many years.
Based on my luck of getting a Smith Corona at the antique store today that 'just works', I think 2026 will be the year of the typewriter for me. I got this one today, I have another one on the way and possibly working out a deal for a third. Videos will likely happen.
I was given this guitar amp and it appears be a clone of an Electromuse A46. It has no identifying badges, no tube chart, nothing. It uses 6V6 for the output, 5Y3 rectifier and i think 6SL7 or 6SN7 elsewhere in the circuit. Too old for 12AX7s.
No idea who makes it, if it's genuine Electromuse or a clone or what. Probably just needs new capacitors or something.
