YouTube app is the only way to play YouTube videos as picture-in-picture on iOS (as far as I know), but its interface is getting cluttered to the point it's almost comical. Areas circled yellow – I will never in my life want to use them!
Buttons I need: "like", "download", and "copy link".
Buttons I get: "subscribe" (extra wide), "ask ai", "comments", "remix", "clip". And a huge banner urging me to use LLM to "summarize video", for good measure 💩
