I've been off the socials for nearly 3 months, and it's been super beneficial. I wrote a blogpost about it. https://michaelearp.net/time-away-time-within/

But I've got some exciting things brewing and the most important is that I'll be revealing the cover for 'Everything Under the Moon: Fairy tales in a queerer light' in my newsletter in June! So now is the time to sign up for that!

Last year, when travelling the US, my self esteem, self worth, and general foundation took an enormous nosedive. When I was at my lowest, I found myself listening to Björk's 'All Is Full Of Love', a song I've always adored. But it had waited for that moment to reveal itself fully.

"Maybe not from the directions you are staring at"

It occurred to me that I need to trust the love for myself that comes from within, something I've never been good at. After all, if ALL is full of love, then so am I. And while it pours out of me to others, it literally has to pass through me to get to them. I have to trust it.

So this little tattoo I got done at the same time as my recent Tori Amos one, by the astounding Mo Twist.

It's now my reminder that love is within me, I just have to acknowledge and accept it for myself. 💚

Just learned that #DiabloIV is coming out in June and now I want the world to shut up and be there already.

Also, I know have a deadline for my memoir as any level of productivity will surely disappear when it is released (yes, I instantly preordered)

I've been having a hoot watching #CunkOnEarth

It's the kind of nonsense I so thoroughly enjoy.

It's one of those glorious days where I don't have any commitments.

The rain is light and and so is my heart.
