We (Brenden P. and I) wrote a perspective on Digital Discovery about the importance of tackling Data Management challenges for #AI-accelerated experimental science. Most importantly, we got to cite the genius of Jorge Luis Borges for his short story ‘The Library of Babel’, which was a source of inspiration. Madeleine Bonsma-Fisher, PhDMost parking tickets in Toronto are $30, but if you don't pay a $3 TTC fare it's a $425 fine. I think illegal parking is more harmful to society than fare evasion and I sure hope @PaulaFletcherTO's motion to investigate this deeply unfair situation passes.

Group outing to celebrate thesis defenses and general examinations amongst many other things. The group is ‘rocking’ it this year. Great things are coming.
I recently finished my leadership role as #UW Materials Science and Engineering. It was a challenging period of growth and development for me. Today I received this gift from the staff and it made my day. I will miss you all too!
