rewatched "Steel" last night...an incredibly cheesy but heartwarming movie from 1997 based on a comic book. i've always enjoyed it, but this time it hits different.

the story revolves around military weapons analysts, & the movie opens with a weapons test gone wrong that catastrophically injures several people, including the lead female character named Susan "Sparky" Sparks (played by the talented Annabeth Gish).
