Just before attempting to enter the cockpit alongside fellow passengers in order to regain control of the aircraft, Todd Beamer was heard saying: "Are you guys ready? Okay. Let's roll."
Moments later, the plane crashed in a field in Pennsylvania. They didn't succeed in saving their own lives... but their heroic action ultimately saved many people that day.

Back in the day, when I was learning #programming, I built a file #encryption tool for Windows and submitted it to various popular websites that listed software for free. On one such website, an editor's review claimed that "no way of recovering lost passwords" was a bad thing. I think about this from time to time.
