An entire adult fly brain has now been mapped and the complexity is staggering. 50 million synapses between 140,000 neurons. Parallel processing at an incredible scale - and all the size of a poppyseed. Imagine a human brain: 100 trillion synapses.
@thomasfuchs but if there was more diversity there wouldn't just be two parties that are the extreme polar opposites of each other, each desperately trying to undo what the other did last time, and desperately trying to guarantee they won't lose the next time. All common ground has been destroyed.
