@normative he does, and he hates it. he thinks he can maintain the site's stature and reach while chasing away all the media class elites and their admirers and replacing them with his people, largely discredited contrarians and reactionaries who feel similarly aggrieved. that's my take anyway.
@proactivebusybody @charliereece @rossgrady yes! my spouse and I just started coming in the pandemic era, and it very quickly became "our beach" (as opposed to our respective families beaches) ... got to take the new baby there this May to see the ocean for the first time!

We just sent the baby boy off to Gigi and Papa's house for two hours, and managed to get his nursery set up for sleeping (as opposed to a bedside crib in our room) and started excavating the piles of laundry that have lived in the bedroom closet.
Utterly exhilarating, I tell you. I feel like I could pull a car right now.
