This is a multi-continent project! This song has artists from the UK, Kansas (US), Spain, and Belgium. From their YouTube channel you can follow their links to find out more.
Since the closure, all of those connections were lost. I lingered on YouTube, Spotify, Bandcamp, and SoundCloud, but not with the energy of the project. The closure took a deep emotional toll, it was difficult to just hear the music for a while.
Now, with the emergence of Mastodon, along with other changes in my life, the energy is beginning to spark again. 🎶
Little more about this project...
The 'Layne Loves' project started in early 2018. It grew from a social media account to share music from independent bands and artists, to a podcast, to an internet radio station in 2019.
The first priority of the project was connections. I made a connection with each band/artist before playing their music, most were direct, a few were friends-of-friends situations.
Circumstances lead to the complete closure of the project in late 2020. 💔
