This is the way #RUNBSD

We did it! We managed to become Bronze Sponsor of the #OpenBSD Foundation again, for the 4th year in a row. This would not have been possible without your support. Thank you!

We've mirrored the hbsdfw dev builds at https://mirror.laylo.io/pub/hbsdfw - please bear in mind that these are for testing, not for production usage. More info can be found at the HardenedBSD July 2022 status report: https://hardenedbsd.org/article/shawn-webb/2022-07-30/hardenedbsd-july-2022-status-report

Thanks to the @HardenedBSD project for the awesome work!

Due to slight changes in our planning, we've updated the #OpenBSD and #HardenedBSD mirror in Amsterdam. It runs the newest OS update and packages.

This marks the final step in the major July maintenance round. Each router, switch, hypervisor and VM received a bunch of love and care.

Glad to say that 98 percent of our infrastructure runs on BSD - mostly OpenBSD and HardenedBSD. The remaining two percent are Linux machines (with grsecurity). Ideally, those are moved over too - but that is a longterm migration.

#RUNBSD

Server16 was added this month!

19 new VMs were added and 41 VMs were renewed.

We donated €805 to the #OpenBSD Foundation, €21630 since we started.

Thank you, our users, and OpenBSD developers for an awesome OS!

Stay safe & healthy!

Good morning Dallas  We just launched a new mirror for the HardenedBSD installers  The machine has a 10G uplink and all-NVMe storage

If you are in the US, grab your installers either from HardenedBSD or our Dallas mirror: https://dallas.mirror.laylo.io/pub/hardenedbsd/

If you are in the EU though, you might prefer our Amsterdam mirror: https://mirror.laylo.io/pub/hardenedbsd/

Happy hacking!

Hiya! Since we remain the only official @HardenedBSD mirror (for now), we are adding a second location, this time in the US.

Later this week we'll be serving #HardenedBSD installers from both Amsterdam and Dallas

Keep on hacking y'all

In collaboration with 99 other organisations and cybersecurity experts, we've sent an open letter to the Belgian government to halt legislation that undermines end-to-end encryption: https://www.globalencryption.org/2021/09/open-letter-48-organizations-and-cybersecurity-experts-call-on-the-belgian-government-to-halt-legislation-to-undermine-end-to-end-encryption/
