I think one of my biggest gripes with YouTube as a platform is the prevalence of hate speech and scams that show up as Ads. And YouTube doesn't care. They don't do anything about reports as such, they're happy to take people's money and show more 10-60 minute 'ads' extolling scams or just outright hate speech.

There's no curation. The moderation is a joke. They work harder to deal with DMCA issues than the legit actual liability.

Worker: I can't live on $7.25/hr

GOP: So go to college

GOP: Take out loans

W: I can't afford to pay these at 8% interest

GOP: No one forced you to go to college
