I'm not concerned with conventional aesthetics in my photography. I'm unconcerned whether they look clumsy or cluttered or lack a clear focal point. It doesn't bother me that they might lack clarity at times and they might be difficult to make sense of visually.

It took me a long time get this photo to a point I was happy with it. Depth of field is always an issue with small objects, but the main problem was the white walls. White is a horrible colour to take a photo of. The camera loves to tone everything down to a mid grey, and to preserve the whiteness, you have to strongly light the white areas.

The whites here are a touch grey, but I'm happy with them. In other photos areas of the walls were under lit and looked muddy.

This photo is called Clique. It's a contemporary art gallery with recreated pieces of art. I suppose you could say, given the title, that this scene depicts the middle of a private view.
