Coming back to this one in the light of day and I think my favorite detail has to be the backdoor they put in to let themselves steal as much money from the bank as they wanted, but specifically this number. This is peak environmental storytelling, someone typed the uint16.max manually, got it wrong, and added five nines and a 4 to the end to make it a reasonable number. Not sure I can point to a worse branding catastrophe than the gnu gnu, while a smug wildebeest that kind of looks like penn jillette certainly is an accurate representation of the GNU project, I’m sure the perception it supports has been a severely limiting factor in GNU softwares usage by the lay public
The trick here is recognizing that libertarians don’t mean the act of pedophilia is bullet worthy, but rather that those who “corrupt” children deserve death. Sometimes that means actual pedophilia, but not if it’s a priest or conservative politician, because those people are working to “purify” children. Meanwhile drag queens and trans people deserve death because of their corrupting influence.
